How to Use The Government To Help You Get Across The Line ?
Stamp Duty: As a 1st home buyer, you are exempt from paying any stamp duty on property transfers which is a saving of up to $15,000 depending on the price of the land in question.
FHGG: As a 1st home buyer, you will be entitled to receive $10,000 as a gift from the Government.
Even though the FHGG is only available once the State Revenue Office is satisfied that you are actually building a new home, (they won’t give 10K just for buying the land alone). However, we can arrange to get the bank to give you the 10K in advance so that you can use it to cover any shortfall in funding at the settlement of the land which is when you need it most, by signing the FHGG to over the bank.
